Junior Product Owner

Your responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business needs and product development

• Create, prioritize, and maintain the product backlog, ensuring that it reflects the priorities of the business

• Break down high-level requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria

• Work closely with development teams and QA to ensure they have a clear understanding of what is required

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and demos

• Ensure that the product being developed meets the business needs and delivers value

• Accept or reject work results at the end of each sprint

• Stay updated with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and market trends

• Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and product outcomes

• Monitor product metrics and user feedback to identify areas for improvement

Our requirements

• Minimum of 1-3 years of experience as a product owner, product analyst, product manager or in a similar role in a product development environment

• Proven experience with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum

• Hands-on experience managing all stages of product development life-cycle

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Latvian and English

• High sense of responsibility, individual initiative and accountability
